A PHOTOGRAPHIC TYPEFACE

Alphabokeh is a colorful alphabet created by photographing carefully arranged lights. Using a shallow depth of field I brought this element into focus as the main subject matter and used the resulting letters for art prints.

Alpha has its roots in \’Alphabet\’ and Bokeh, pronounced “boke-uh”, is the blur, or the way a camera lens renders out-of-focus points of light. In photography, a patterned or colorful bokeh is a desirable background element.
