Currently residing in Cary, I am both a North Carolina native and recent transplant to the triangle, having honed my skills in many great places across the country including Savannah, Salt Lake City and Los Angeles.
Inspired by architecture, fashion, microbiology and many other things I could never do myself, I love to distill my discoveries into ideas that are practical, functional and sometimes just plain fun.
In my spare time I'm usually buried in a book, playing with paper and glue, behind my Nikon D80 or catching up on the latest Deadliest Catch episode (Team Time Bandit!). I also have a tendency to have one foot firmly planted in
the air, always planning my next high flying adventure. Rappelling or parasailing anyone?
Oh, and the last name? It's like "curtain", with a "G". If you can honor its French heritage with your best French accent, I'll happily treat you to coffee and a slice of tiramisu!
